JOSH & ANNIE

MYTHE BARN | UK WEDDING | JULY 2025

Josh and Annie were married in July 2025, right in the middle of peak wedding season. Their reception was held at Mythe Barn, with the ceremony taking place in a small village church nearby—recently renovated, thoughtfully restored, and complete with underfloor heating, which proved to be an unexpectedly popular feature on the day.

Bridal preparations took place at Mythe Barn, while the grooms could be found sampling some jars in The Black Horse Inn, conveniently positioned next door to the church and well suited to the task. It was a black-tie affair for the gents, paired with a clean, modern aesthetic for the bridal party. Their dog, Bear, was very much part of proceedings too, cutest member of the bridal party without question.

As is typical of my approach, we made space for two separate couples’ sessions—one shortly after the ceremony, and another later in the day, heading into the neighbouring fields to catch the last of the light. The golden hour was generous, stretching across the farmland as dusk settled in.

The reception brought a few surprises, including secret singers woven seamlessly into the evening, lifting the atmosphere without ever feeling staged. A well-considered wedding, full of warmth and personality. Incredible wedding put on by an incredible couple.

  • "I could not recommend Gleed Photography more if I tried - Callum, we can’t thank you enough!!!!"

Even though he had never been to our venue, he knew it inside and out. He knew the exact moment of the evening to go to the exact spot, and captured the dreamiest ‘golden hour’ shots in the surrounding fields.

These are my favourite photo’s of the entire day and will treasure them forever.
