MEILA & RYAN

EASTINGT0N PARK | UK WEDDing  | JANUARY 2025

Ryan and Meila’s wedding marked the opening of the 2025 season. I’m a firm believer in momentum—how you begin often sets the tone—so starting the year at Eastington Park felt like the right way to step into it. Having not photographed there before, I arrived early, walked the spaces, and let the layout and opportunities of the venue reveal themselves

I’d actually worked with Meila previously in her role as a makeup artist on another wedding, so there was already a shared understanding of how the day should be approached. In her own words “I chose Callum as a supplier for our wedding (with me being a wedding supplier myself) and having worked with him previously I knew he would be a great fit personality wise with both myself and my bridesmaids but also the men.”

The wedding itself was black tie, with a clean, modern black-and-white aesthetic. Meila was clear from the outset that she wanted a full black-and-white gallery, which gave the work a strong sense of cohesion and allowed the styling to really hold its ground visually.

Early spring weddings come with their own temperament, but they also offer something rare. When the sun does appear, it sits low for much of the day, creating a soft haze and subtle light leaks that carry through the images—not just at dusk, but from late morning onwards. With preparation and planning, it made for a calm, considered start to the season.

A fitting opening chapter, and one that quietly set the tone for the year that followed.

  • " If we were to re do our wedding 100 times we would choose Callum again and again to be our photographer!"

Callum was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish.

Thank you so much for all of your hard work and for being such a great guy!!!!!
